Ultra Street Fighter IV - Decapre release

And just like that, without any high profile announcements, Decapre has landed in the arcades!
Check out some of the advertising and promotional stuff dropped yesterday.
Few hours practice later -
Ultra 1 (PsychoStream) looks pretty dominant, but character with EX slides can escape through it. Since it moves like Yoga Catastrophe, EX Shoryuken and stuff prob wont beat it.
Super (Strife Dagger) is pretty good and easy to combo into.
"Rabbit Dagger" (hitting jab buttons rapidly) move does good chip but against grapplers will leave you in a world of pain.
"Scramble" (teleport) move is amazing.. Full screen maneuverability. Also can be recoiled to cause feints.
We'll be hitting up Takadanobaba tomorrow to get some good play time in on Decapre. Hit us up with requests!

Retailer "Bicqlo" - Shinjuku

Japan's first "Bic Camera", "Uniqlo" crossover is the latest in a sea of big brand collaborations, this time bringing electronics and fashion to one mega store. Access from Shinjuku and Shinjuku Sanchome stations through the underpass make it unmissable.

Although not having the breadth of selection the usual "Bic Camera" would usually offer, "Bicqlo" has a bunch of promotions and offers exclusive to this particular branch.

Exclusive free gifts on pre ordered goods.
Periodical promotions and discounts (combined with their point system makes for good savings).
Promotional life sized models during DVD or major game releases (including Dark Souls, Pokemon, Gundam, IronMan, Spider-Man etc).

Advertising - Candy Crush

Some badass advertising budget in Shibuya happening right here. Japan was a little slow on the CandyCrush uptake but since December last year has been flooded with advertising. Shortly after the campaign kicked off, CC went from being outside the top 100 to the number one game app on iTunes.
