Simply put, the best retro you shop ever. The few pictures here don't do justice to the sheer quality or quantity of western toys from yesteryear.

Might Max, Ren and Stimpy, Boglins, Mario, Sonic, Pacman, Bucky O'hare, Ghostbusters, the list just goes on and on. Some major rarities include original '94 Mortal Kombat figures (all of them, including rare ones) and Street Fighter the Movie toys (all of them, including every VanDamm outfit ever produced). All items are retail or below retail price, however, quite a few are sold as sets, meaning quite a large investment both financially and in terms of space.

ROBOT ROBOT - Nakano Broadway

Phenomenal bunch of 80's and 90's throwback merch.

Outside of Akiba, Nakano Boroadway is definitely the place to be if you're lookin for action figures, retro toys and gamin junk from yesteryear. ROBOTROBOT has 2 stores, this time we'll be looking at their western selection on the 3rd Floor.

All kinds of classic goods, most of which can't be found in standard figurine dealers, from Ghostbusters to Reboot to Earthworm Jim. Specializing in foreign goods sets ROBOTROBOT apart from almost all other suppliers in Tokyo, although often goods are neglected and hunked together, prices reflect quality.

Mindblowing mount of Crash Bandicoot, Sonic, Pacman and Parappa the Rapper related goods.

Retailer "Village Vanguard" - Shibuya

Some of the dope retro gaming stuff available at VV. 

Shibuya being one of the biggest Vanguard joints in Japan makes them a must if you're looking for instant access to gaming apparel and merch. Although a chain, the Shibuya shop especially seems to get a lot more variety than other places - more often than not, exclusives too!

Retailer "Bicqlo" - Shinjuku

Japan's first "Bic Camera", "Uniqlo" crossover is the latest in a sea of big brand collaborations, this time bringing electronics and fashion to one mega store. Access from Shinjuku and Shinjuku Sanchome stations through the underpass make it unmissable.

Although not having the breadth of selection the usual "Bic Camera" would usually offer, "Bicqlo" has a bunch of promotions and offers exclusive to this particular branch.

Exclusive free gifts on pre ordered goods.
Periodical promotions and discounts (combined with their point system makes for good savings).
Promotional life sized models during DVD or major game releases (including Dark Souls, Pokemon, Gundam, IronMan, Spider-Man etc).
